Vidurna encounters Eudeir, who is under the barrage of insults slewed at her under the machination of her superiors.
One the situation ceases, Eudeir notices Vidurna amongst the onlookers. A deeply humiliated look surfaces, only to be hidden away with a meek acknowledgment that follows.
Exchange of greetings, they arrange to meet up at a cafe. Eudeir’s situation is revealed (corporate slave), Vidurna provides a shoulder and sweet sympathies.
“Let’s talk again.”
The second meeting ensues. In a dismissive manner, Eudeir reveals her self-loathing and insecurity regarding identity/self before awkwardly excusing herself. Vidurna’s mood flips, they then offer a chance for her to be reborn. She is cautious, suspicious, and rightfully so. But what more is there to lose?
Eudeir is transported to their lab, kept in a room where she is supplied with medication. A few days pass within that dark insanity.
She is plunged into a fluid-filled cell. (I will think about the operation details later.)
She awakes in a new shell. A body completely “human.”
She resides in a containment unit until she has completely assimilated into her new form.
Eudeir remains in a coma-like state. She never awakens.
