A daytime biomedical scientist and a nighttime creator of various organisms via unorthodox means.
They had a premature birth. The most notable birth defects are as follows:

They are reared from a bloodline of purebred daws.
Upon generation after generation, the same vision forced itself to manifest into the next descendant, spearing through the ranks to produce nothing short of a vain mantle bearing worthless prestige.

A paradox, a hypocrite, a nobody.
Likes: escapism, unspoken superiority.
Dislikes: complacency, determinism, stagnation.
They believe that:
I weep at the injustice we are subjected to, we who are the prisoners to the flesh of animals.
Unable to cope with their insignificance and revolted by the shallowness of society, they fabricated meaning within their own delusions.
These meaningless motivations, the frivolous materialism that pervades these beasts — the acquisition of material goods, the continuation of a bloodline, the grasp of a position of power, and so forth —, the short-sightedness of it all is lamentable; beyond it all, these dregs do not even seek to overcome their blatant flaws, instead wallowing within the scope of their limitations.
All of this is a result of their self-loathing, now projected onto the world as a whole.
The aim of Vidurna's creations is to manufacture a "purified" version of humanity (The Pure). In doing so, they develop both synthetic ("fragmented") and manipulated ("metamorphosed") organisms.
Throughout all of their creations, they exhibit insect-like traits. This is more so in a symbolic sense than anything seemingly logical. Vidurna's perception of what constitutes "human" has become so distorted and alienated from what the true significance of human cognition may be that they do not even recognise the cause of their failures when it is reflected in their creations. As their research progresses and approaches what should have been their idea of a "purified" human, the more severe and widespread the insect deformities become.
As for what these creations actually appear to be:
Synthetic/fragmented
These are "fragments" of what could've been their concept of a human. Clumps of various human organs, amalgamated into an agonised mass that could have barely been classified as "living" during their brief state of action.
Manipulated/metamorphosed
Using a pre-existing organism, it is forcefully altered. These experiments inevitably result in failure and the death of both the subject and Vidurna's degenerate projection onto said subject.
Regarding the methods of creation, subjects and biological materials are illegally acquired (typically via a middleman). Within the lab, the technology encompasses a few themes: artificial wombs, implantation, evisceration, patchwork, union of incongruent parts...
